Enstone Primary School

Happy, Motivated, Achieving.

Welcome

Welcome to Enstone Primary School's website.  We are delighted that you decided to take a look at what our amazing school has to offer.

We are a small and friendly, rural school, at the heart of our village community.  Set in beautiful grounds, with lots of wide open space and opportunities for outdoor learning, we are able to offer our pupils an environment where they feel safe, happy, nurtured and excited to learn and explore.

Enstone Primary School is pleased to offer wrap around care from 8:00am - 5:15pm.

What do we want for our pupils?  Like you, we want the best for them!

Our mission statement: HAPPY, MOTIVATED, ACHIEVING

Our first and enduring priority for all of our children is to make sure they feel happy in school.  We want them to be eager to arrive each morning, and to enjoy the many and varied opportunities that each day brings.  Happy learners are successful learners, so we place great importance on children's social and emotional development at all stages of their learning journey.  Being a small school, we are able to nurture our pupils in an environment where we know each of them so well and we can tailor and adapt our curriculum and our teaching approach to suit their different strengths and needs.  Every child is unique, but they are also part of a team - our Enstone Primary School community.  Mixed age classes and an ethos that encourages our older pupils to play an important role in supporting and nurturing their younger peers mean that relationships are strong across the school.

Then it's all about motivation.  What do you want or need to learn?  How do you learn best?  Our curriculum is broad and exciting, allowing pupils to explore, investigate, create, innovate, and share their learning in a variety of ways.  Our school benefits from extensive grounds in a beautiful rural setting, enabling us to take learning outside, both within and beyond the boundaries of the school.  We make sure that there are extra-curricular opportunities to inspire all - sports, performing and creative arts, STEM - there are opportunities planned in every academic year to engage our pupils and encourage them to explore and develop their skills.

When children are happy and motivated, good learning is enabled and our pupils achieve their learning goals.  Academic standards are high, aspirations for our pupils' achievements are high, but it doesn't stop there.  It is important to us that our pupils grow and develop to become confident, healthy, self-aware, responsible young people who are ready to embrace the challenges of a fast-changing world.  A key factor in achieving this is the effective communication and strong relationships we build with our families.

Enstone Primary School sits at the heart of a thriving village community.  The best way to get a feel for our friendly, welcoming school is to come and visit us.  We would be delighted to show you round and to answer any questions you have.  Please contact the school office via email or telephone to make an appointment.
