P.E. and School Sport
PE and School Sport play an important part in the life of the school. Pupils participate in a minimum of 2 hours curriculum PE each week, plus active playtimes and lessons. There are many extra-curricular sports clubs and the Chipping Norton School Sports Partnership run a variety of workshops and inter-school competitions throughout the academic year.
In the summer term 2019 Enstone Primary School achieved the "School Games" GOLD SPORTS MARK, which recognises our commitment to high quality PE and school sport and the opportunities offered to our pupils. In the summer of 2020, we were awarded a School Games certificate of recognition for our continued commitment to PE and School Sport, during the Covid-19 Pandemic. We were pleased to receive this award again in 2021. It was a difficult time for school sport during the pandemic, but we were proud to have continued offering our children a broad range of curriculum PE and extra curricular sports despite all the disruption!
In 2022 we achieved our GOLD SPORTS MARK again. It had been a fantastic year of school sport and tournaments.
