In 2012 we established links with a school in Bordeaux and began exchanging emails and letters. In 2013 the school visited us for the first time during their week's trip to England and for a time this became an annual event.
The most recent visit was on Tuesday 24th March 2015. The French children and teachers spent the day with us and took part in a variety of activities with Years 3-6. After school they stayed to play bingo and had a traditional British meal of "bangers and mash" that was kindly cooked by the Friends Association. We then waved them off and looked forward to our first return visit in June.
In June 2015 it was our turn to visit France - have a look under "In School" and "Residential Trips" to read all about our trip and see the photographs.
In 2016 Enstone set up an international "blog" to talk to our friends in Bordeaux. We send each other photographs of current topic work and updates of what we have been up to. We have used this page as part of our Computing curriculum and as an alternative to sending traditional letters.
