Based as we are, in the heart of the countryside, we love to take our learning outside whenever possible.  Provision in this area has recently been enhanced with the development of a fabulous new "Outdoor Learning Zone", which adjoins our existing nature and pond gardens.  The new area provides an amazing space for den building, water play, exploring nature and letting our imaginations run wild in the story teller chair.  It is also a good space in which to "chill", with the gentle sounds of the chimes in the music area, or enjoying the sensory garden in our wooden planters.  Raining?  No problem - we have a spacious shelter to work in.  (Or we might just get a bit wet!)

We have also installed a new orienteering trail, with markers throughout the school site, which can be used across the curriculum by all age groups.
