Enstone
Primary School was founded in 1875 and is situated in the
village
of Enstone. The village has a population of around 1,300 living within 5
hamlets. Enstone is situated 16 miles north west of
Oxford,
midway between Woodstock and Chipping Norton. The village has a shop, Post
Office and church. There is a strong sense of community in the village and
there are many varied activities available for people of all ages. The
school is strongly supported within the local community. |

school has approximately 100 pupils divided into 4 classes, covering F1 to Year 6. The Headteacher is supported by the equivalent of 4
full time teachers and 6 teaching assistants. The school offers all the
advantages of a traditional, friendly village school. The school is in
the Chipping Norton Partnership and the majority of pupils transfer to
Chipping Norton School at the end of year
6. There is a Pre-school on the same site and the school has a thriving
Friends organisation. |
